ShambolicsShambolics are a dreamy rock & roll band making their music north of the boarder in Fife, Scotland. They've taken influence from all sorts of genres, but they say their inspirations come from the best guitar based music from the 50s onwards. Basing themselves on 1960's psychedelia, 1970's harmonies, 1980's clean guitar chimes and 1990's melodic anthems. If the La's, The View and The Stone Roses were shook together in a bottle then the result would be the Shambolics bursting out the bottle. 'Chasing a Disaster' released in 2017 is my personal favourite, but they've made a whole host of bouncing songs, their latest of which is 'My Time Is Now' another great tune! Take a listen below:
Spotify: Shambolics The ReytonsThe Reytons is a name you'll want to remember. These lads from Sheffield are making some great music, and of-course because they're from Sheffield I'm inevitably about to compare them to the Arctic Monkeys. But they really do have an Arctic Monkey-esk sound, its undeniable. With those beautifully constructed guitar riffs, the thumping drum and that intoxicating accent coming through, there is nothing not to like - The Reytons are reyt good. If you're on the lookout for catchy, high intensity, energy filled music made with passion then look no further than 'Canine' that provides all that and much more. If you like the sound of 'Canine' then I'd checkout 'Harrison Lesser' a brilliant song released last year, a song destined to make you fall in love with The Reytons, if you're still left hungry for more then "Slice of Lime" should wet your appetite! RiscasYou might already heard of this young Birmingham four piece - Riscas. They've achieved great success recently, especially with their latest single 'Complex'. They provide a relaxing yet catchy sound comparable to the like of Marsicans and Little Comets, but they have their own unique brand of crazily infectious riffs and echoing sounds which is exactly why their most popular single 'Panic like Tom' has received extensive airplay on Radio 1. This band really blew up last year, they now have almost 150,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, so why not check them out and see what all the fuss is about? 2019 is destined to hold HUGE things for Riscas.
